Artist Statement
My art is a cosmic inquiry into the structure, meaning, mystery of the world we inhabit, from nature to the vastness of space to the subatomic level and into the mystical realm.
My explorations ask the eternal questions of why and how we are. I take elements from physics, metaphysics, geometry, sacred geometry, nature, dreams, symbols, totems and more to bring some understanding of the mystery.
I work intuitively using natural and biological elements and symbols that have some personal relevance to me on my explorations. Often these elements come from a deep subconscious level and through art I seek to uncover the meaning.
